Denton’s will educate the customer on all the different species and sizes, the pros and cons of each product, the Janka rating (hardness of wood) and help the customer decide which wood would work best for the perfect wood flooring for your budget, personal taste and what works best for you and your family.
Getting ready to install your hardwood floor.
Now that you have decided which wood and species and the room is cleared out and ready, the wood will need to acclimate. This is especially important during the installation process and is critical for a high-quality job.
The time for acclimation varies from each project depending on new construction, existing home, size of wood, etc.
You will want to move pictures and anything on the wall to prevent jarring off during the installation.
Now the installation process will begin. Denton’s will let you know how long the installation process will take. A week after installation, the floors will be ready to sand and finish.
We had nothing but a good experience through every step of the process! They were polite and very professional. They made 5 rooms of tired old wood floors look new again. Our realtor recommended them to us and now I will be recommending them as well. Its a joy getting prompt honest service these days!

Denton’s is simply the best! We recently purchased an older home and have had substantial renovation work done. We were spoiled by the service we received from Denton’s! They arrived on time, delivered exactly what they promised, finished on schedule, and were courteous & professional every step of the way. We couldn’t be happier with our new floors!
